Does one need a turtle that badly??? You just get to walking round the store and say, "hmm I need a critter. Nope, no tarantuala, reminds me of my ex wife. Nope, that lizard prolly wouldnt stay in my britches. Hey!! a turtle! "
It is not like a puppy or a kitten that can snuggle with you, poo on your carpet and bring a little joy. But a turtle just kind of sits there. Besides, don't those lil buggers carry salmonella? who would want THAT in your pants?
